Visit Alleghany

All loyal and well-intentioned alums are welcome to visit Alleghany during our regularly scheduled Parent Visitation hours, which occur on the 2nd Saturday of each term from 2:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. Please contact one of the directors before coming to visit, as advance notification is required. Alumnae unable to visit during this time, or those with prospective campers, may contact the directors to set up a separate visitation time.

Alumnae wishing to visit current Alleghany staff members may do so during our regularly scheduled Parent Visitation Hours ONLY.

Alumnae wishing to attend the JC Initiation held during 1st Term must be relatives of a current JC and must contact the directors ahead of time to request to come in to camp. Alumnae wishing to attend Banquet ceremonies must also contact the directors to make a reservation; we will not always be able to grant this request.

Alumnae wishing to visit during Family Camp may come in to camp between 10am and 12pm, or 3pm and 5pm. We request that you do not stay for meals, as the food is prepared only for the number of paying guests in camp. Please contact the directors before coming to visit during Family Camp.

Alumnae under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, and we are no longer able to accommodate overnight visitors. Should you have any questions regarding our policy, please contact Sam in the camp office at (304) 645-1316.
